Email Time Suck!
You get what feels like thousands of unwanted emails every day that you just have to look at but you wish would go away. Yes, you may have checked their box at some point, but now you are done with them… so go away… unsubscribe... I'm done with you!
In my first time saving Blog Post here is how to eliminate “Email Time Suck” in minutes per day as you read your email!
If you use Apple email or most others, when you read your email there is an unsubscribe button right up front that most of us ignore. Here is what it looks like:
Yes, just click on the unsubscribe button and you will be removed from their email list... eventually... it may take a couple of weeks so be patient. You will be removed, because there are major penalties to marketers who don't adhere to the latest email spam guidelines like email removals. They could be banned! Which might put them out of business.
If you don't see this unsubscribe button at the top of your email, a link to unsubscribe will almost almost always be included at the bottom of the email... it may be hard to find as many sites hide it as much as possible, but it will be there and is worth looking for. Here is an example at the bottom of the same email:
So rather than just ignoring the message and deleting it, just click on the link either top or bottom and get removed from their mailing list forever. This will take a couple of clicks but will be worth it to get rid of unwanted email. And if you do this every time you check your email your "BS" time-wasting email will be gone within a month or so, saving you a ton of time and frustration. And eliminating Email Time Suck!
